Mrs E Hessey
Health Care Assistants
Louise Morris is available 5 days per week to provide the following services: Wound Care, INR testing, provision of certain injections, blood taking, new patient medicals, ECG recordings and blood pressure measurements.
Lucy Hully is available 4 days per week to provide the same services as Louise.
Practice Manager
Mr Stuart Abbott deals with the smooth running of the practice. If you have a complaint, an idea or any suggestions please contact him.
Assistant Practice Manager
The Assistant Practice Manager assists with the smooth running of the practice.
Medical Secretaries
Mrs Julie Taylor and Miss Stacey Finney deal with all the referral letters sent to hospital.
Miss Sophie Craddock provides support for the medical secretaries and covers all aspects of their workload.
Miss Devon Tilson is our practice Care-coordinator.
Receptionists
The reception team deal with the smooth running of the reception environment. They will be your first voice of contact when visiting or ringing the practice. The reception is the heart of the practice and it can be a very busy environment; please be a patient patient.
Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) Staff
Mrs Heather Hollins and Miss Amanda Swindell are the practice Care-coordinators. They help co-ordinate patient care
Other ARRS staff are employed by other practices within the Primary Care Network and provide services for our Patients, these include:
- First Contact Physiotherapist - Patients can have an assessment without having to speak to a GP first for a referral, please ask our receptionists for more information
- Social Prescribing Link Worker - They can put you in contact with various agencies who offer support for housing, money, social isolation and many other issues that fall outside of healthcare.
- Mental Health Team - this team provide mental health support
- Pharmacist & Pharmacy Technician - the team perform medication reviews, medication increase / decreases and medication switches
- Diabetic Dietician - this is for newly diagnosed diabetics who want to try diet and lifestyle before relying on medication long term.
District Nurses
The District Nurses are available Monday to Friday and also provide weekend cover. They provide an invaluable service to our patients living in the community who find it difficult to attend some of the nursing clinics provided on the premises.
Midwife
A midwife is present to see pre booked patients every Tuesday.
Physiotherapy
A physiotherapy assessment can be arranged without you having to be seen by your doctor, please ask a receptionist for more details.
